Neglecting cleanliness puts communities at risk. – Hon. Owusu Bempah

Neglecting cleanliness puts communities at risk. – Hon. Owusu Bempah

In a recent interview with Nana Asabea on Plan B FM’s family show “Nyansapɔ Fie,” Hon. Bernard Owusu Bempah, Assembly Member for Dzatabu Electoral Area and Chairman of Tema West Municipal Zonal Council, sounded the alarm on the dangers of neglecting cleanliness in our communities.

“Keeping our living spaces clean is like dressing our children in clean clothes to prevent infections,” he emphasized. “But when we burn trash around our homes, it only leads to more accumulation and encourages illegal waste disposal.”

Despite people stealing dustbins provided by the Assembly, Hon. Owusu Bempah vowed to continue advocating for change in character and providing more dustbins.

“We must take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness in our communities,” he urged.

“Let’s create a healthier environment for ourselves and future generations as cleanliness is a critical issue that affects us all,” he added.
