NDC Has Always Prioritized Education – Dela Apetor

President’s Ethics Code Falls Flat – NPP

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has once again reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to education in Ghana. According to party communicator, Dela Apetor, the NDC has consistently introduced policies aimed at expanding access and improving the quality of education across the country.

He recalled that the 1992 Constitution, the introduction of the Junior High School (JHS) system, the progressive free Senior High School (SHS) policy, and several practical education initiatives were all championed by successive NDC governments. He stressed that the NDC also placed emphasis on technical and vocational education, which he described as a core part of the party’s educational ideology.

Mr. Apetor noted that many of these interventions were discontinued under the administration of former President J. A. Kufuor, but the NDC has continued to stand firm in its belief that education is the bedrock of national development.

He further commended Hon. Haruna Iddrisu for setting the records straight on social media regarding the SHS placement system, debunking claims that admission is strictly tied to a fixed aggregate score.

“The children of today understand more than some of the political ‘jandam’ who try to mislead the public. The NDC has always been and will continue to be the party that thinks deeply about education,” he stated while speaking on Nkosuo Nsem.
