NDC grassroots ‘suffering’ — Communicator pressures Mahama over appointments

Anti-LGBTQI Bill: NDC’s George Asabre accuses NPP of lack of commitment as pressure mounts on Parliament
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

George Asabre, an NDC Communicator, has openly called on President John Dramani Mahama to urgently address what he described as growing frustration among the party’s grassroots.

Speaking on Nkososem on Plan B FM, Mr. Asabre warned that several NDC branches across the country are “dying” due to neglect, despite the party’s return to power.

He acknowledged that recent appointments made by the President are solid, but argued that the party’s grassroots structures, which he described as the engine of the NDC, have been left without meaningful attention.

According to him, many branch executives endured hardship during the previous administration and now expect inclusion and recognition under an NDC government.

Mr. Asabre cautioned that failure to prioritise the grassroots could create internal dissatisfaction and weaken party unity if not addressed promptly.
