An NDC communicator for the Tema West Constituency, Dela Apetor, has expressed confidence in the party’s ability to defeat Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the next general election.

Speaking on Plan B FM’s Nkosuo Nsem, hosted by Kofi Sekyi, Mr. Apetor stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is grateful to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for once again presenting Dr. Bawumia as a key political figure. According to him, the NDC believes Dr. Bawumia’s record in government provides enough grounds for voters to make an informed decision at the polls.

He alleged that Dr. Bawumia has what he described as “ten major failings” during his time in office, adding that the party will, at the appropriate time, outline these issues to the Ghanaian public. Mr. Apetor emphasized that the NDC is strategically prepared and fully understands how to challenge and defeat the NPP’s flagbearer in the upcoming election.
