Nationwide Covid-19 Vaccination Resumes Today- GHS
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has stated that the COVID-19 vaccination will be administered across the country from today, September 24, 2021.

This follows the delivery of extra doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Ghana Health Service.

In a statement sighted by PLAN B FM, it read that “this part of the exercise is accessible to the general public. The exercise is open to anybody aged 18 and up who have never received a vaccination or have only had one dose of AstraZeneca”.

The statement also urged all eligible individuals to bring a valid photo ID card with them while attending any designated immunization center in their particular districts.

The statement continued, “The Ghana Health Service would want to take this occasion to reassure the general people that the country will not relent in its attempts to acquire additional vaccines to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The service then urged the general public to continue adhering to the Covid-19 safety protocols.
