The club announced the decision to part ways with the two coaches on Sunday evening, after the team’s hard-fought 3-2 victory against Techiman Eleven Wonders.

“Nations FC has mutually parted ways with both Head Coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and Assistant Coach Johnson Smith.

“We thank them for their service to the Club. The club will not make any further comment on this topic,” a club notice on X said.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Nations FC has mutually parted ways with both Head Coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle and Assistant Coach Johnson Smith.

We thank them for their service to the Club.

The club will not make any further comment on this topic.

Nations FC have endured a challenging start to the ongoing Ghana Premier League season, boasting of just two wins in the last seven games.

The five other matches in the league resulted in two draws and three defeats.

For a side that came close to clinching the Ghana Premier League title last season, management has deemed the work of Kassim Ocansey Mingle and Johnson Smith as below par.

As a result, the club has sacked the two highly-rated coaches and is expected to put together a new technical team in the coming days.
