Multiple crashes on Koforidua Ada to Nkurakan road under construction

One Feared Dead, Driver In Critical Condition In Gomoa Dabenyin Accident
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Numerous vehicles have been involved in crashes on the Nkurakan to Ada Junction road in Koforidua, Monday morning.

The accidents have been attributed to ongoing road construction.

It appears that the contractor used clay on the road, resulting in hydroplaning. This has caused many vehicles to lose traction and maneuverability, sliding and colliding each other.

The contractor has however failed to to erect warning signals to forward motorists.

Meanwhile the road has been diverted at the Tuozafi joint area through to Magazine before joining the road again.

“It will be safer to use alternative route such Tinkong rout or the Agarvanya road that will take you konko to Amanfrom to join the Adukrom road”.
