Defending champions Asante Kotoko have been handed a stern test in their quest to retain the MTN FA Cup, after being drawn against fellow Premier League side Aduana FC in the Round of 16.
The clash stands out as one of the headline all–top-flight fixtures at this stage of the competition, setting the stage for another chapter in the long-running rivalry between the two sides.
Elsewhere, Dreams FC will lock horns with lower-tier opposition Inter Allies, while Eleven Wonders are set to face Attram De Visser. True Life will battle Heart of Lions in what promises to be another closely contested encounter.
Techiman Liberty Youth have been paired with three-time finalists Real Tamale United, as Berekum Chelsea prepare to take on Tamale City. League leaders Medeama SC will welcome Samartex, while Nations FC are scheduled to face Swedru All Blacks.
With the competition entering a decisive phase, Kotoko will be determined to defend their crown when the Round of 16 matches are played between February 6 and February 9.
