The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS), as part of its role to help curb the spread of covid 19, will collaborate with the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to begin the “no vaccination, no entry policy” at the various stadia starting this Friday.

Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko face off in another Super Clash come Friday but would be competing for the President’s Cup.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Unit of MoYS stated that football fans who wish to watch live games at various league centres including the game between the Black Stars of Ghana and Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium would have to be vaccinated as well as the adherence to all COVID-19 protocols.

The statement said the ministry has directed the National Sports Authority (NSA) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to only admit fans who are vaccinated into the various stadia.

“The Ministry of Youth and Sports has directed the managers of the stadia (National Sports Authority) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to admit only fans who are fully vaccinated into the stadia at various centres on match days.”
