A motor rider whose identity is unknown has lost his life in an attempt to save a run-away thief.

The incident occurred today, November 30, 2022 at Achimota Neoplan around 9am.

According to an eyewitness, the notorious crook had gone to steal from a store and was fleeing from the scene.

In his attempt to bolt, he encountered the rider, who made a swift diversion in order not to hit the thief. The rider lost control and hit his head on the ground.

He was pronounced dead even before efforts were made to transport him to a hospital for medical attention. It is believed that the rider had no idea the man he saved is a thief.

Meanwhile, the robber has been arrested by the Police after he was beaten by the crowd at the scene.
