A 16 years old boy who attends school at Nhyieso D/A School near Asante Akyem Agogo has been killed to death by three Fulani men in Ananekrom. David Analia went to fetch water in the area with two others. As they approached, they saw some Fulani herdsmen with their cows and the two other boys managed to escape.
The three herdsmen caught David and stabbed him in his chest. They then cut his hand and neck. The assemblyman of Ananekrom, Hon Peter Abedze said the two boys who escaped came to tell the townfolks what went on. The youth in the town then went into the bushes and caught these three Fulani herdsmen and beat them up severely.
They brought them to the town and handed them over to the policemen from Agogo after Police intervention. The mother of the young boy after hearing the news of her son’s death collapsed and has fallen into a coma. She is currently at the Ananekrom Health Centre receiving treatment. The Fulani herdsmen are also receiving treatment at the Agogo Government Hospital after they were severely beaten.
