The Eastern Regional Police Command has commenced investigations into the death of a 60-year-old woman at Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
The deceased was found in a well at Koforidua Old Estate in the New Juaben South Municipality of the Region.
Information according to Accra based Citi FM indicates that the woman went missing last Sunday, July 17 and was found on Thursday, July 21.
The Pungent smell emanating from the neighbourhood led residents to find the deceased’s decomposing body.
The Police have assured that the circumstances that led to the woman’s death would be unravelled.
