Ministry of Education Urges Integrity as WASSCE Begins Nationwide

The Ministry of Education has extended goodwill messages to candidates sitting for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) across the country, encouraging them to uphold discipline, honesty, and integrity throughout the examination period.

In a statement issued on behalf of the sector, the Ministry commended students for the dedication and hard work that has brought them to this stage of their academic journey, describing the exams as a crucial milestone in their educational development.

“Let integrity, discipline, and honesty guide you throughout the examination period. Your dedication and hard work have brought you this far. Trust in your preparation and believe in yourselves,” the statement read.

The Ministry further wished all candidates success, expressing confidence in their ability to perform creditably if they remain focused and committed to their preparation.

On behalf of the Ministry of Education, Ghana, officials reaffirmed their support for candidates nationwide as the examinations commence, underscoring the importance of academic integrity in maintaining the credibility of the assessment process.

The WASSCE remains one of the most significant examinations in the country’s education calendar, serving as a gateway for students seeking admission into tertiary institutions.
