Men advised not to take alcohol to prove themselves to women in bed

Men advised not to take alcohol to prove themselves to women in bed

Sexual intercourse under the influence of alcohol has many consequences, and foremost amongst these is regret.

Rev. Emmanuel Aning has advised the public, especially young men to desist from drinking alcohol to have long-lasting sex with their partners and other women to prove themselves as strong men because alcohol as a psychoactive drug has amnesic effects that are capable of making users forget the consequences of sex when inebriated.

Evidence suggests that young people often engage in unplanned sexual activities with casual partners or are raped under the influence of alcohol, he made this known on Plan B FM’s family, relationship and lifestyle show dubbed “Nyansapo Fie’ hosted by Rev. Dr. Michael Asenso.

He added that alcohol can affect ones ability to get and maintain an erection.

‘Drinking too much on the regular can also cause permanent damage and erectile dysfunction’

Mrs. Kessewaa Nortey (lady Kess), also a guest on the show said alcohol can put women at a greater risk of breast cancer and negatively affect fertility.

“It can also increase some side effects of menopause. So, whatever age you are, it’s important to keep an eye on your alcohol consumption and drink within the guidelines to desist from it to keep risks from alcohol at a low level, alcohol can also contribute to job loss and relationship issues in both women and men” she added.

Madam Mary Bright (Aunty Mary) also added that engaging in regular alcohol use can cause skipped or irregular periods.

“The process occurs because alcohol can temporarily increase testosterone and estrogen levels, wreaking havoc on the typical hormonal fluctuations during ovulation.

She then advised the general public, especially women who have been indulging in alcohol to refrain from it for a healthy lifestyle.
