Aunty May Bright Koffie stressed that overcoming debt overload begins with accepting one’s financial situation and taking responsibility. She explained that acknowledging the problem is a crucial first step toward finding a lasting solution.

She encouraged individuals to carefully review their finances, organize their debts, and develop a clear repayment plan. According to her, prioritizing payments and understanding one’s financial obligations can make the burden more manageable.

Aunty May also advised cutting down on unnecessary expenses and seeking help from creditors or financial experts when needed. She noted that although debt can be stressful, discipline, consistency, and a steady approach can help individuals gradually regain financial stability.
