Many Ghanaian youth are thieves, they beg for jobs but steal from their employers when hired – Businessman and Politician Solomon Owusu

Ghanaian businessman and politician, Solomon Owusu, has sparked outrage online after claiming many Ghanaian youth are thieves.

According to Owusu, many young people are begging for jobs due to the unemployment crisis yet when they’re hired, they attempt to steal from their bosses and destroy the very business that is paying them.

Speaking on TV3’s New Day program, Owusu said due to these attitudes by young Ghanaians, many private employers find it difficult to expand their businesses and hire more people which also contributes to the unemployment crisis.

Owusu said while many young people are depending on the government to create jobs, it is actually the private sector who can employ most of them.
