A ruthless father of three is in police custody after stabbing his wife to death for serving her God given sauce to another man.

The suspect, Johnson Baguma, 35, a resident of Kitoba sub county stormed the residence of his wife Esther Nyamaizi 27, in Birungu village in Kitoba sub county on Saturday night, killing her on spot.

The couple who share three children together had separated for 18 months following several incidents of domestic violence. Nyamaizi was compelled to flee her marital home with the children to live with her parents, however, Baguma was not done with her.

Locals allege that on that fateful night at 11:00 pm, Baguma attacked Nyamaizi at her parent’s home, accusing her of being a prostitute and separating him from their children. He claimed she was sleeping with another man, despite having his children in the same house.

Nyamaizi who was reportedly in the company of another man at that time came out of the house to retaliate and met her death.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says the suspect pulled out sharp knife and pierced his ex-wife severally in the stomach, killing her on spot. Nyamaizi died from excessive bleeding that resulted from the injuries inflicted on her, adding that her body was later handed over to the relatives for burial.
