A 30-year-old man, known by his nickname Commotion, was electrocuted at Berekum B.P in the Berekum East of the Bono Region while attempting to steal.

According to Nana Kwame, reporting for Nyankonton Mu Nsem, Commotion died attempting to steal from a noodle vendor.

The vendor had reportedly closed her business and gone home, prompting Commotion to seize the opportunity.

However, he was electrocuted in the process.

Nana Kwame stated that the vendor had previously complained about her business being ransacked.

Commotion, a local resident, had been accused of being a serial thief.

It is alleged that he monitored the vendor’s movements, waiting for her to leave before attempting to steal.

His body was discovered, and the police were subsequently informed.

The body has been retrieved, and an investigation is underway.

However, no family members or relatives have come forward to claim the body.
