Political Analyst, Samuel Boateng says former President John Dramani Mahama has no moral right to talk about corruption under the NPP because tenure as president of this country had many corruption scandals citing Gyeeda, SADA among others.
John Mahama at a recent Professionals Forum at the Cedi Conference Centre of the University of Ghana on Monday, September 6, 2021, said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is not willing to fight corruption within his government.
According to Mr. Mahama, the failure by President Akufo-Addo to fight corruption in his government will affect his ability to “guarantee citizens an appreciable standard of living”.
Speaking on Plan B FM ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ with Ohene Addo, Samuel Boateng thinks otherwise, he described the former President as a man with no conscience to talk about corruption.
“Mahama has no moral right to say the current government is not willing to fight corruption. During his time, there were many corruption scandals. Talk of the Ghana Entrepreneurial Development Agency (GYEEDA) and the Savanna Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). It baffles me when he gets the effrontery to talk about corruption. He has no moral grounds when it comes to issues of corruption,” he said.
