Francis Badu Melo, an NDC communicator and Deputy NADMO Coordinator for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, has praised President John Dramani Mahama’s government for what he describes as strong leadership and accountability since returning to power. Speaking on Nkosuo Nsem, Mr. Melo stated that the current administration has not been hit by any major scandal, a development he says reflects a clear commitment to good governance.

According to him, the Mahama-led government has focused on resolving economic and structural challenges inherited from the previous NPP administration. He argued that many of the difficulties facing the country were a result of mismanagement under the NPP, and that the NDC government has taken deliberate steps to stabilise the economy and restore public confidence.

Mr. Melo further highlighted a significant drop in inflation as evidence of the government’s performance, noting that inflation has reduced from about 54 percent in 2022 to approximately 5.4 percent currently. He described the decline as unprecedented and credited it to effective economic policies and disciplined leadership under President Mahama
