Founder of policy think tank, Danquah Institute, and stalwart supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko has mocked claims by former president John Mahama that he would fully pay all whose funds have been locked up in collapsed financial institutions in the country, if voted into power come December 2020.
He took to his twitter page to assert his truth in the face of deceit, when he jabbed the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for promising what he cannot deliver.
Mr. Otchere-Darko questioned the former President’s actual commitment to the retrieving of lost funds when he reminded him of his inability to pay the 90,000 Ghanaians who were owed some 660 million Ghana Cedis when DKM Microfinance collapsed under his watch as President of the Republic.
The risk analyst and pan-Africanist rubbished narratives that John Mahama, whose poor oversight of Ghana’s financial sector will be the savior-incoming to the mess he created.
