President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr. Henry Herbert Malm as the Acting Director of the National Theatre of Ghana.

The appointment marks a new chapter for the institution, which has not seen any major development over the years
Mr. Malm brings to the role a wealth of experience in communications and media.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at Unilever Ghana PLC, where he was instrumental in driving the company’s stakeholder engagement and sustainability strategies.

He also has a strong background in journalism, having previously worked as a news anchor with TV3, one of Ghana’s leading television networks.

His career has been defined by a deep understanding of media dynamics and public engagement skills that are expected to play a critical role in shaping the future of the National Theatre.

The National Theatre, a symbol of Ghanaian creativity and artistic excellence, continues to serve as a venue for drama, music, dance, and other performing arts.

With Mr. Malm at the helm, stakeholders are optimistic about a renewed vision and stronger public engagement.
