The Founder and Leader of Captain Jesus Prayer House, Prophet Isaac Ofosuhene Gyimah is urging his colleagues men of God to as a matter of urgency come out publicly for Ghanaians to hear their stance on some allegations leveled against them by the NPP Vice Presidential candidate Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh on LGBTQ.
Prophet Gyimah expressed worry over the allegation by the running mate of the New Patriotic Party NPP, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, that $51 million was allocated to Ghanaian faith-based organizations(FBO’s), Civil Society organizations (CSO’s) and the Ministry of Education in 2012 to promote Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) Curriculum, which he claims contain LGBTQ themes under the then National Democratic Congress (NDC) government led by Former President John Dramani Mahama.
In an interview with Obidehyie Kofi Sekyi on Plan B FM’s ‘Nkosuo Nsem’ show on Monday, 28 October 2024, Prophet Gyimah expressed worry as to how Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has kept this issue to himself for quite long and didn’t make it known to Ghanaians.
“I have not believed it and I don’t want to believe it, my fellow men of God should as a matter of urgency come out publicly for Ghanaians to hear from them because it is a disgrace to be involved in such act as men of God” he stated.
“Did Mathew Opoku Prempeh ever invited the Media to talk on this claims since he assumed office as the Minster for Education ?” he quizzed.
Prophet Gyimah emphasized how disgraceful this allegation is to men of God.
