It would be recalled that land commission and it’s land tittle unit are the cause of all land litigation in Ga State.
Speaking at a news conference held in Accra, the Teshie Traditional Council Secretary, Mr Paul Akpor Sowah, accused the land commission for masterminding some sale of Okpoi Gonno land to one Samuel Kofi Diame and other developers without any consultation to the rightful owners of the land.
How can the land commission gives titles to someone who doesn’t hold any capacity on the said land.
The land in question was earmark for Teshie development city well plan for that matter they don’t know who the developers of the shopping mall.
According to him, Samampa led by its CEO Madam Rose Aryee is contesting this same land in court for which she was able to obtain injection on it.
The entire Teshie Traditional Rulers gives her the land and tittle for which the family register it in Samampa Real Estate name in 1998.
For land commission to go and plot that same land with different titles sounds pathetic and he doesn’t get it.
He appealed to any group or individual who are busily developing in Okpoi Gonno land must come and see either Samampa or Teshie Traditional Council for proper negotiations.
Mr Paul Akpor Sowah hinted that failure to do so the said group or individual shall face their wrath.
Meanwhile the CEO of Samampa Real Estate,Mrs Rose Aryee was optimistic that the Okpoi Gonno land was given to her by the entire families of Teshie for trust.
According to her, than she haven’t decided plan’s for it yet, so immediately after the late Mankralo died and was buried. The caretaker came to her for portions of the land to be given to him so that they can sold it and she declined to his offer.
Thereafter he managed to confuse some of the elders and also get a land tittle unit officer who manage in getting them one Mr Samuel Kofi Diame a businessman to buy the land and titled it in his name whilst she still have her name there as a tittle holder.
She said she invited both Kofi Diame and the Caretaker Mankralo to let them know that over her dead body to witness that land is been sold to someone while she is still the legitimate tittle holder with six signature.
There the Caretaker Mankralo in person of one Nii Akuffo who told her that New king New law and she responded to him that he is just six months caretaker without any capacity.
Mrs Rose Aryee appealed to both government and the judicial service to fast track land cases to avoid doubled sale of land.
