Two men; all drivers, has been confirmed dead after a motor accident at the Suntreso roundabout. The first driver, Jonathan Amo, sitting at the back of a VW Polo, was confirmed dead at six this morning whiles the other driver, riding an unlicensed motor bicycle, was confirmed dead at seven this morning.

All two died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after they were taken to the hospital at five this morning.

An eyewitness to the accident, Deborah Ofe, hinted that the driver of the motorcycle, was a primary school driver who was heading towards work when he crashed to death. We work at Holy Montessori Academy, a school at Suntreso and was heading towards work when the VW Polo vehicle crossed us.

My brother, the motorcycle rider, is a driver at Holy Montessori whiles I work as a cook. We use this same bicycle for work every day and has never encountered any problem until this morning.

We were following our lane while the driver of the VW Polo wasn’t. He came from nowhere and crashed us, sending my brother to his death, Deborah Ofe, the brother to the motor rider said in her statement to the Suntreso police.

Deborah sustained minor injuries to her body while her brother crashed his head on the coal tar road. The brother of Deborah Ofe, Sammy Ofe, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but Deborah was, and that saved her.

The driver of the VW polo, Peter Amo has been arrested after two people lost their lives this morning. Peter Amo, was learning how to drive on the road with his brother Jonathan, when they crashed into Sammy and his sister Deborah. Peter did not sustain any injuries after the accident, but his brother Jonathan did, and that lead to his death.

Jonathan, sitting at the back of the VW Polo, was crashed by the motorcycle when his brother Peter used his side to cross the motorcycle rider. Jonathan sustained injuries to his stomach when the aluminium gate of the car pierced into his stomach.
