The Kumasi Traditional Council, led by its acting President, Baffuor Asare Owusu Amankwatia, the BANTAMAHENE has granted permission for Oyerepa FM to resume operations.

The Kumasi Traditional Council, last week advised the Radio Station to shut down operations as a means of showing remorse following some remarks made on their platform against the Asantehene which the council deemed unacceptable.

After a delegation led by Nana Asokore Mamponghene and some Reverend Ministers together with the management of the embattled station went to plead with the council today.

Earlier before the sitting, the Ghana Journalists Association went to plead with Bantamahene to pardon Oyerepa radio.
