Kudus Mohammed Clarifies AFCON Absence

Black Stars and Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus has explained why he failed to show up for Ghana at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon despite been named in the 28 man squad.

The 21-year old sustained an injury in Ghana’s last group game in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium. The former FC Nordsjaelland player has since not recovered fully and has not be able to play for his club and Ghana.

In a tweet, sighted by Plan B Sports, the player rubbished claims making rounds that he has quit the Black Stars due to claims that some teammates are scheming against him with ‘juju;
