The Office of COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, Director of Security Operations at the Presidency has issued a statement refuting false allegations that the senior police officer instigated chaos at Terminals 2 and 3 of Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

The statement firmly describes the claims as baseless and malicious.

According to the statement, on the evening in question, COP Kofi Boakye acted promptly to restore order and prevent further disturbances caused by a group of unruly individuals. His quick intervention ensured the safety of passengers, staff, and property at KIA.

The Office categorically denies any suggestion that COP Boakye orchestrated or supported such actions. As a dedicated public servant, COP Boakye remains committed to upholding peace and security.

The public is urged to disregard these falsehoods, and media outlets are encouraged to verify facts before circulating harmful misinformation.
