King Faisal Close To Announcing Ex-Kotoko Chief George Amoako As New CEO

Immediate past Asante Kotoko Chief Executive George Amoako is on the verge of joining city-rivals King Faisal.

Last week, the newly constituted Asante Kotoko board disbanded the management team which made Amoako redundant.

King Faisal owner Alhaji Abdul Karim Grusah has announced the club will re-hire the veteran administrator to help their stay in the Ghana top-flight.

”Immediate past Asante Kotoko C.E.O Mr George Amoako will join King faisal FC as the club’s new CEO for the next season campaign. Talks are ongoing and I can tell you he will join us very soon,” Grusah told Ashh Ashh FM Sports.

Amoako worked with King Faisal in 2003 alongside Herbert Mensah’s SOS Networx Initiative after they were sacked from Asante Kotoko.
