Karaga DCE’s driver shot dead by unknown assailants

The driver of the Karaga District Chief Executive (DCE) has been shot dead by some unknown assailants in the Northern Region.

The Crime Officer, Superintendent (Supt) of the Northern Regional Police Command, Mr Bernard Baba Ananga, who confirmed the incident to Graphic Online said driver, identified as Ziblim Issah, was shot in the head in the official vehicle of the DCE while returning to Karaga by some unknown assailants at Yamo-Karaga, a few kilometres from the Karaga township.

The deceased was said to be alone in the vehicle as at the time of the incident.

Mr Ananga said the body of the deceased has been identified and deposited at the mortuary of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).
