Italian President Mattarella lands in Ghana to deepen relations

Italian President Sergio Mattarella has arrived in Ghana for an official state visit.

Mr. Mattarella landed last night, Thursday, April 4, 2024, and was warmly received by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia upon arrival.

The visit of President Mattarella is focused on discussions surrounding education, energy, and security.

Additionally, the visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic ties between Ghana and Italy.

During his stay, President Mattarella will engage in substantive dialogues with Ghanaian officials to explore opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefit in the aforementioned areas of interest.
