The recent circulating news that has undoubtedly caused raised lots of concerns across social media was when the Akufo Addo government was unexpectedly ‘exposed’ again over the controversial Agyapa deal.

Speaking in a recent interview on Joy FM the Executive Director for IMANI, Kofi Bentil took the privilege to express his immense disappointment aside revealing all the secrets behind the controversial Agyapa deal yet to be considered and implemented by the Akufo Addo government. “They are unwilling to go through the proper process. The process so far is illegal. You can not take a sovereign country’s resources and pledge them to another country and try to hide them from the people. Every time you look at this thing, it’s just terrible. When you go into further details, we don’t know who is going to buy it; it is the can of stuff we all have to refuse and make sure that it doesn’t happen because nobody has been able to explain to a room of intelligent people, why this deal is good. It doesn’t make sense. You sell for over 10 years what you can get in 3 years. Why do we face to sell everything, spend the money, and hope for a better tomorrow. Look at how everybody is complaining these days”, the Executive Director for IMANI, Kofi Bentil emphatically revealed.
