If you fail to deliver, we will not hesitate to remove you from power-Duncan Williams

If you fail to deliver, we will not hesitate to remove you from power-Duncan Williams

As Ghana braces for its crucial 2024 general elections, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, the presiding leader of Action Chapel International, has delivered a powerful call to action for political leaders, electoral officials, and citizens alike. In his address, the Archbishop stressed the significance of safeguarding Ghana’s democracy and ensuring the elections are free, fair, and reflective of the people’s will.

Speaking with urgency, Archbishop Duncan Williams underscored the need for elected leaders to honor their campaign promises. “If we vote for you to represent us, we expect action. If you fail to deliver, we will not hesitate to hold you accountable and remove you from power,” he declared, resonating with many Ghanaians who have expressed frustration over unfulfilled political promises.

His statement reflects the growing call for accountability in governance, as citizens increasingly demand that their leaders prioritize the nation’s development over personal or partisan interests.

Archbishop Duncan Williams issued a stern caution to anyone contemplating election interference. “This election is too important to be tampered with,” he warned. “The 2024 election will test the strength of our democracy. We must prove whether we have been honest or merely pretending.”

His words come at a time when concerns over potential electoral malpractice and political tensions loom. The Archbishop’s admonishment serves as a reminder of the high stakes involved in the upcoming elections, emphasizing that the integrity of the electoral process is paramount.

In a heartfelt spiritual warning, the Archbishop addressed the dangers of compromising the electoral process for personal or financial gain. “Those who betray the trust of the people for money will face repercussions beyond what they can imagine,” he cautioned. “Blood money taken to manipulate the election will haunt not just you, but your descendants as well.”
