I never received even a grain of rice from the Chief of Staff’ – CPP Chair denies Frema Opare’s rice, cash donations

Chairperson of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Sarpong-Kumankuma has referred as “liars”, those accusing her of collecting items from the Chief of Staff (CoS).

According to the Chairperson, she did not receive even a grain of rice from the Chief of Staff before or during the yuletide.

It was reported that the Office of the Chief of Staff allegedly gave out some 100 bags of rice and a GH₵100,000.00 to be distributed to members of the CPP but got missing.

The allegations became viral on various WhatsApp platforms of the party with members agitating over the whereabouts of the items.

Speaking with Regina Yaa Titi Okrah, host of social and political talkshow, ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Onua FM, Nana Frimpomaa said she neither took any money nor items from the CoS and dared her to come out and prove her wrong if she indeed gave out anything.
