I Always Feel Like Insulting Anyone Who Says Ashanti Region Didn’t Vote – NAPO Fumes

I Will Lead My Kumasi People On Demo If Ken Ofori-Atta Allocates Funds For Keta Sea Defense Project – Energy Minister

The running mate for Dr Bawumia of the NPP, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, has expressed strong disapproval towards assertions that the Ashanti Region exhibited low voter turnout in the recent elections.

Serving as the Vice-Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 elections, NAPO emphasized that such statements are not only ridiculous but also disrespectful to the electorate of the Ashanti Region.

In a recent interview, NAPO stated, “I always feel like insulting anyone who says Ashanti Region didn’t vote. Over 2 million people didn’t vote for us so why will say we lost votes in the Ashanti region?”

He highlighted that the Ashanti Region delivered a substantial number of votes for the NPP, contributing significantly to the party’s overall performance.

NAPO further added that this is time for the party to be focusing on understanding the broader factors that influenced voter turnout and addressing them constructively.
