Horror moment transmission tower collapses with two workers strapped to the top sending them falling to their deaths

THIS is the terrifying moment a transmission tower suddenly gave way during construction work, sending two workers plunging to their deaths.

Locals caught the horrifying scene on video, as the two employees clung to the flimsy structure.

The video shows the first part of the tower collapse, seemingly into thin air.

The first section above the workers falls away, before another joint below them follows suit.

Clinging to each other in their final moments, the pair tumbled to the ground on Tuesday.

Their landing was concealed by a roof top, when the video cuts off.
