Hearts Of Oak Players & Staff Finally Test Negative For COVID-19

Accra Hearts of Oak fans can now heave a sigh of relief following reports that the club’s players and staff have tested negative for coronavirus after a second round of testing.

The Phobians 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season opener against Aduana Stars was called off after 31 memebers including playing and non-playing staff tested positive for the virus prior to their game last weekend.

Moving forward, The club’s matchday 2 fixture against Ashanti Gold SC has also been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

According to media reports, the entire players and staff who tested positive for the Covid-19 have all tested negative for the virus after the latest round of testing.

The club is currently waiting for a COVID-19 certificate from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) before making an official announcement.
