Hearts Of Oak Appoint Carlos Pinto As Technical Director

Accra Hearts of Oak have officially announced the appointment of Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto as their new Technical Director.

Hearts of Oak have been without a permanent head coach since parting ways with Kim Grant in December last year with Edward Nii Odoom has been acting as interim coach since then.

The 46-year-old Portuguese trainer touched down in Ghana earlier this week ahead of his appointment. Pinto has managed Angolan clubs Clube Recreativo da Caala and Recreativo de Libolo. He also coached Ethiopian giants Saint George SA.The Phobians announced the appointment on their Twitter page on Thursday October 22, 2020:Β

Prior to joining Hearts Of Oak, Vaz Pinto previously handled Portuguese side FC FamalicΓ£o U23 from September 2019 to June 2020 playing 26 matches, winning 4, losing 11 and drawing 11.
