Wendy Shay’s new song “Heat” has supposedly been petitioned to the Ghanaian government to be banned.

Wendy Shay and her Shay Geng recently released the single “Heat.” The song is suddenly a hit, with fans singing along and taking part in the artist’s heat challenge.

Today, a front-page item from one of the daily newspapers, “Publisher,” was shared on social media, drawing a lot of attention. The headline read, “Government petitioned to ban Wendy Shay’s song Heat.”

The reason for the petition is unknown, however some social media users suggested that it could be because of the lyrics Wendy used in her song, which have been petitioned to the government to be banned.

The words of the song allude to the country’s current difficulties, as well as how the economy and inflation are causing citizens to suffer in order to get money in order to survive.

The artist, Wendy Shay, and her managers are yet to respond to the widely circulated publication.
