According to TVC News, the celebrated actor died on Thursday, July 17, 2025, following months of declining health, but his family chose to keep the news private.

Tom Njemanze rose to prominence in the 1990s and became a household name for his compelling performances in Nollywood classics such as Tokunboh, Pounds and Dollars, Atosa, Issakaba, Osuofia in London, Brain Box, and Igbotic Love.

Njemanze carved out a legacy as one of the enduring pillars of Nigerian cinema.

His contributions helped shape Nollywood’s golden era, earning him admiration across generations of movie lovers.
