Vision FC recorded their second win in the top flight as they beat fellow newcomers, Basake Holy Stars at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

Daniel Yemoh’s strike for the hosts in the 43rd minute was the difference in a keenly contested game on Sunday, October 6 2024.

It looked like the first half was going to end a draw before Yemoh beautifully controlled a cross with his shoulder to bring down the ball in the penalty box.

The King Faisal then fired from close range as the ball sneaked underneath the gloves of Abdul Wahab to in post to give Vision the lead before the break.

Gazale made changes after recess as Holy Stars fought for the equalizer.

The Vision defense proved difficult to penerate as they protected their narrow lead.

They held on to secure all three points which moved to 6th position on the league standings on 8 points, three points adrift leaders, Asante Kotoko.

Holy Stars have now suffered three defeats in a row and are just a point above the danger zone.

They will aim to bounce back when they host Karela for their next game.

Vision FC are away to Heart of Lions for their next game.
