The Week 18 encounter of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season between Nsoatreman FC and Asante Kotoko has ended in a goalless stalemate.

The two clubs locked horns today at the Nana Awuah Koramansah Park to battle out for the first three points of the second round of the Ghanaian top-flight league.

In a game of plenty chances, neither side did enough in the first half to get on the scoresheet.

After recess, Asante Kotoko displayed a good fighting spirit but the players were stopped in their tracks by a resolute defensive outing by Nsoatreman FC.

Although the reds would create some good goal-scoring chances, the team failed to find the back of the net and had to settle for a goalless draw at the end of the 90 minutes.

Courtesy of the results today, Asante Kotoko have managed to move to second on the league table and four points behind Aduana Stars.

For Nsoatreman FC, the team is 9th on the league log.
