Tamale City came from behind to draw 1-1 against Asante Kotoko at Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in week 12 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors claimed the lead in the 83rd minute through Issah Nyaabila, who turned the ball into his own net from close range.

The hosts got the equalizer three minutes after when Babamu Ibrahim converted a rebound following a poorly cleared throw-in by Asante Kotoko.

With 12 games played, the Reds temporarily sit 2nd on the league log with 20 points, as Hearts of Oak will be playing a day later. Tamale City are second from the bottom with 11 points from 12 games.
