Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club missed out on claiming at least a point in its Ghana  Premier League2024-2025 season game against Bibiani Gold Stars.

The Phobians lost 1-0 to Gold Stars at the University of Ghana Stadium with the loss being Hearts of Oak’s third, eight games into the campaign.

After conceding a Samuel Attah-Kumi goal in the 69thminute, Hearts forward Hamza Issah had the chance to tie the game six minutes later but his penalty attempt was saved by Gold Stars goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi.

Kobi launched himself to the left side of his post to parry the firmly struck attempt by Issah and keep his team’s clean sheet intact. Kobi was awarded the Man of the Match Award.

Hearts led the way in the game’s statistics by having 54% ball possession, attempting 19 shots and getting four on target while effecting eight corner kicks.
