A Ghanaian UK army veteran known as Godfred Sarpong has been jailed for three years after being caught in possession of child p*rn*graphy.
Godfred reportedly had disturbing media which included p*rnogr*phic images of animals, individuals having s*x with a frog, snake, and a dog, as well as videos of children being molested, on his phone.
The Ghanaian reportedly even shared some of these images with other people, apparently sending them to 36 other people via WhatsApp.
He was arrested and jailed for three years for his crimes.
Sarpong’s also been banned from getting in contact with children without supervision and his internet usage restricted.
According to the UK press, the Ghanaian is a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
The 33-year-old British Army veteran was shot by the Taliban in Afghanistan and later stabbed by a fellow soldier, which resulted in him suffering from PTSD.
