GNFS Withdraws Assault Case Against British National

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has withdrawn case filed against British national who allegedly assaulted one of its officers; Bright Asamoah in line of duty.

Christopher Francis Cook, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Penwood Farm Shop, allegedly hit the forehead of the officer with a sharp object and slapped a journalist as well.

A letter to from the apologetic CEO to the GNFS, the Christopher Francis Cook regrets his actions and asked Ghanains to forgive him.

As a result, GNFS also has accepted the apology and withdrawn the case from police.

Meanwhile, Christopher Francis Cook, according to information is in critical health condition and responding to medical treatment.
