General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Dr Titus Kofi Beyuo, has joined the parliamentary elections of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
His decision, he stated, is in response to clarion calls from constituents as well as party members and sympathisers to contest the Lambussie parliamentary seat in the Upper West Region.
Dr Beyuo, in a statement, said he has picked nomination forms “to run for public office to serve the good people of the Lambussie Constituency.”
He has since resigned his position as General Secretary of GMA to pursue his political ambition.
