Ghana’s economy records 4.8% growth in 2nd quarter – GSS

Ghana’s economy grew by 4.8 per cent in the second quarter of the year, the Ghana Statistical Service has announced.

This compares to a GDP growth of 4.2 per cent recorded in the same period last year.

GDP growth rate without oil and gas (Non-Oil GDP) for second quarter of 2022 was 6.2 per cent which compares 6.6 per cent in the same period of 2021.

The Services sector recorded the highest growth of 5.2 per cent, followed by the Agriculture sector with a growth of 4.6 per cent and the Indu
