Ghanaians Should Take Their Personal Security Serious – Security Analyst

Ghanaians Should Take Their Personal Security Serious – Security Analyst
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Security Analyst, Lord Nana Appiah has urged Ghanaians to be mindful of their environment by looking out for movements and people who act in an unusual manner.

He believes one of the ways to curb the rate of murder and kidnappings in the country is to be each other’s keeper and also advised, being conservative as Ghanaians should be a thing of the past as everything matters.

Mr. Appiah called on Ghanaians to make a conscious effort to protect themselves instead of relying solely on the Ghana Police Service.

“In our neighbourhood we don’t look out for people who act in a suspicious manner, we don’t look out for unusual movements and unusual people in our communities because we are perhaps a conservative society you say you are minding your business, but I think that should be a think of the past as we live in a very dangerous world now” he said on Plan B FM ‘Ebaanosen’ with Bohyeba Afriyie.

The Security Analyst further noted that the police cannot provide everyone with 24-hour protection, as there aren’t enough personnel in the service.

He also urge the police service to intensify public education on the personal security of Ghanaians to create awareness of the dangers in the society.
