Ghanaians massively descend on Kofi Jumah after telling Alan Kyeremanten to come back to his senses

Earlier today, Ghanaian politician and a former Mayor of Kumasi, former Member of Parliament for the Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, made a statement that has caused a lot of commotion and stir among the Ghanaian folk. Ghanaians have massively descended on Kofi Jumah for make such a statement.

His statement was addressed to the flag bearer of the Movement for Change, an Independent political movement, Alan Kyeremanten. Maxwell Kofi Jumah advised Alan Kyeremanten to seek therapy before reconsidering returning to the New Patriotic Party, NPP for short.

 

Earlier this year, Alan Kyeremanten was known to be one of the contenders to be the next flag bearer of the NPP. However, when he lost the race to become flag bearer, he left the NPP and aimed at becoming an independent presidential candidate. His move attracted a lot of speculations among the Ghanaian folk. However, he set his sights on the presidency, vigorously campaign across the length and breath of the country.

In response to Alan’s decisions, Maxwell Kofi Jumah advised Alan Kyerematen to seek therapy before reconsidering return to NPP. The GIHOC Managing Director suggested that Kyerematen’s decision to leave the party may be rash, and urged him to ‘get back to his senses’ and rejoin the New Patriotic Party in due time.

As a result of his statement, Ghanaians have massively reacted to his statement. While some have supported what he said, many have expressed their discontentment and have descended on Kofi Jumah. Here are a few reactions.
